Eddie Bravo


Eddie "The Twister" Bravo began his venture into martial arts as a student of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master Jean Jacques Machado in 1994. In route to earning his black belt Eddie invented new concepts in submission fighting that would revolutionize the techniques of BJJ. Bravo won the Abu Dhabi North American Trials lightweight division on October 5, 2002 in San Diego, California earning the Most Technical Fighter Of The Night award. Following, at the 2003 Abu Dhabi Championships in San Paulo, Brazil, he secured a submission win over legendary Royler Gracie.

Following extensive research delving into the roots of Mixed Martial Arts, with an intent on establishing the most proficient fighting system, Eddie began studying Catch Wrestling. Eddie is currently practicing and teaching the art of catch wrestling at Dark Planet Catch Wrestling located in Hollywood.
